There are many night spots around in Singapore. Most are gathered together in an area to attract more visitors. For examples, The cannery(Clarke Quay) and St James Power Station(Habourfront).
What makes it so unique and different from the other pubs?
When the clock strikes 5pm, here comes the "Happy Hour" in Clarke Quay. Regardless of whether it is a weekday or weekend, you will get to enjoy fabulous drinks and delicious appetizers from 5pm to 8pm. Even we are tempted to see this great deal. So, what are you waiting for? Mark down the Canary as one of your must go spots in your itinerary.
There are many night spots which include, Zirca, Clinic, Rebel, etc. Eventually, we decided to try out Lunar as it is the first Asian fusion bar in Singapore.
Look at the outstanding building coated with red paint! When we first arrived at Lunar, we all exclaimed how smart they were to use an attractive colour like red for their entrance.
We went to take a look at the Lunar Asian Fusion Bar. When we first stepped in, it was totally different from what we expected. There was a transparent elevated pathway with stones underneath to lead us in. We love it that the theme consisted of a mix of Western and Chinese influences. The place is furnished and painted using mainly black and red. In addition, there are also goldfish lanterns and handcrafted bird cages.
Once we settled down, the waitress greeted us warmly and recommended us some of the great deals offered for the night. We suggested that we wanted something within our budget and she was able to introduce us some of the more popular drinks right away.
Besides her great service, we noticed something special on them. The staff are donned in electric red wigs and dressed in designer, China-doll inspired couture.
The service of the pub is efficient and we do not need to wait long for the beverages to be served.
In Lunar, they provide live bands and free music for you to relax and enjoy your drinks. It is a South American band with traditional Chinese musical instruments playing to modern-day Chinese music.
Overall, the atmosphere was great and all of us enjoyed ourselves there.
Lunar is definitely a place where Asian tradition experiences a metamorphosis!
After visiting the pubs and discos, we recommend you to take a stroll along the riverside. The gentle breeze will create a nice atmosphere for you and your loved ones.
