ABOUT OUR BLOG
This blog will feature the theme of leisure and recreation. We will recommend and post about
places in Singapore where you can enjoy such activities. Leisure and recreation will include
shopping, places of attraction and also places to chill out. Our blog is unique because other
than providing factual information, we also included our personal experiences. In
addition, most pictures posted up on the blog will be taken by ourselves, thus giving you a feel
of the places before you actually visit them.

Singapore has a unique blend of the best of the modern world and rich cultures to deliver
enriching experiences.
1. People
Singapore's population of almost four million comprises of 77% Chinese, 14% Malays, 8% Indians
and 1% Eurasians and people of other descent.
2. Language
There are four official languages in Singapore: Malay, Mandarin, Tamil and English. Most of
the Singaporeans are bilingual, with English and their own mother tongue. Singaporeans also
have their self-created language – Singlish.
3. Climate
Do you know that Singapore is unique for its tropical climate? Unlike other countries,
Singapore does not experience the four seasons.
Singapore has some constraints like lack of natural resources and the limited land space.
However, fear not, we will introduce places that guaranteed you fun and enjoyment!
OUR MAIN TARGET READERS
Since our main theme is leisure and recreation. It refers to a portion of time not
obligated by subsistence or existence demands. Thus our main target readers will be
tourists who come to Singapore for a free and easy tour.
Leisure and recreation activities include:
Holidaymakers - They will be those staying for long term in a country for leisure and
recreation that are not obligated to time. Thus, they will be able to spend their time
freely in the different places in Singapore. By reading our blog, you will know more
about the different places where you can totally relax and enjoy your holiday.
Adventure traveler - They usually prefer travelling on foot or public transport.
As Singapore is well known it's convenient public transportation system, they will
not have problems visiting the different places in Singapore. Our blog also provides
information about what type of public transport is the most convenient for an
adventure traveler. In additional, as Singapore is a tourism hub, adventure
travelers could also travel to other countries from here.
